Bison futé a classé les journées de vendredi et de samedi orange dans le sens des départs sur les routes, particulièrement en Île-de-France.

Tail backs will be classified as Orange Alert on Saturday, Christmas Eve, leaving cities, in particular Île-de-France, (Paris)

Les principales difficultés de circulation à l’occasion de Noël sont attendues vendredi et samedi, journées classées orange par Bison futé, au niveau national et dans le sens des départs.

The main traffic bottle necks over Christmas are expected on Friday and Saturday, on a national level and on exit routes out of cities.

Jeudi orange aussi en Île-de-France. En Île-de-France, la journée de jeudi est également orange pour les départs, ainsi que celle de lundi pour les retours. Dans le sens des départs, Bison futé recommande “d’éviter de quitter Paris après 11 heures et les grandes métropoles entre 15 heures et 20 heures” les jeudi 22 décembre et vendredi 23 décembre.

Thursday will also be very heavy around Paris, on the exit routes, as will the return routes on Monday. Heavy traffic watch recommends “avoid leaving Paris after 11h00 and other large urban areas between 15h00 and 20h00 on Thursday and Friday 22 & 23 December.

Samedi rouge en Rhône-Alpes. Samedi 24 décembre, journée classée rouge en région Rhône-Alpes, il vaut mieux “éviter de quitter une grande métropole entre 11 heures et 16 heures”. Enfin, le lundi 26 décembre, il faut “éviter de quitter Paris entre 11 heures et 15 heures”. Dans le sens des retours, Bison futé préconise “un retour sur Paris avant 15 heures ou après 20 heures” le 26 décembre.

Rhone-Alps (Eastern France on Swiss and Italian frontiers) Red alert on Christmas Eve. It will be best “to avoid leaving a large metropolitan area between 11h00 and 16h00”. On Monday 26 December it is advisable “to avoid the return routes to Paris between 15h00 and 20h00.

Bill is a member of the Drama League of Ireland and his plays have been critically vetted and certified as original pieces of work by the DLI. Another literary project is that of commemoration of an aircraft crash on Djouce mountain in Wicklow in 1946. Bill wrote articles for the 50th, 60th and most recently the 70th anniversary, (12 Aug 2016) all were published in the Wicklow Times and ensured the survivors of the crash, all French Girl Guides, were not forgotten. Articles reproduced on this website. But mostly this site gives a more general European and specific French slant on popular and not so popular articles of French news, translated to English by the author. Each article is translated on a paragraph by paragraph basis so easy to read in either language and even possible to improve either language by comparison of the short English and French paragraphs. Amusez vous bien. The author is currently writing an easy to read technical aviation book centered around the Fokker 50. Another interest is that dealt with in another of Bill's websites www.realnamara.net, a Statue of the mother of God, Mary. It was erected in 1972 in Dublin, at the end of the Bull Wall near Clontarf, and my grandfather William Nelson, was the main instigator of that project.
