Sécheresse : 55 départements concernés par des restrictions d’eau

Le manque de précipitations et les fortes chaleurs qui règnent sur le climat de l’Hexagone depuis quelques semaines entraînent de nombreuses initiatives départementales d’économie d’eau. Selon le ministère de l’Ecologie, 55 départements auraient ainsi déjà pris des mesures de restriction.

Une grande aprtie de la France souffre de la sécheresse. D’après les cartes diffusées par le ministère de l’Ecologie, en Bourgogne, Rhône-Alpes et en Auvergne, la canicule a imposé des restrictions décidées par les autorités préfectorales. Ces régions sont aussi touchées par des incendies. Poitou-Charentes et Aquitaine sont tout autant concernées par ces mesures d’économie d’eau. Le nombre de départements ayant pris des mersure de restriction est d’ailleurs passé de 52 à 55 depuis mercredi, dont 25 déclarés en situation de crise.

De plus, la sécheresse impacte les agriculteurs qui sont confrontés à ces limitations. Certains départements se sont d’ailleurs déclarés en situation de crise et interdisent tout prélèvement d’eau. “Avec la sécheresse, les stocks d’hiver sont entamés. Aujourd’hui, nos coûts de production ne sont pas couverts par la vente de nos produits. Et en plus ils vont être augmentés par la sécheresse parce que l’on va devoir acheter du fourrage,” a expliqué à l’antenne de France Info Julien Derori, président des jeunes agriculteurs de Haute-Loire, alors que la profession est déjà touchée par une crise économique.

Des conséquences graves de la sécheresse pour les cultures : les sols sont desséchés pour très longtemps, explique François Lequeu, prévisionniste Météo France à Dijon.

Bill is a member of the Drama League of Ireland and his plays have been critically vetted and certified as original pieces of work by the DLI. Another literary project is that of commemoration of an aircraft crash on Djouce mountain in Wicklow in 1946. Bill wrote articles for the 50th, 60th and most recently the 70th anniversary, (12 Aug 2016) all were published in the Wicklow Times and ensured the survivors of the crash, all French Girl Guides, were not forgotten. But mostly this site gives a more general European and specific French slant on popular and not so popular articles of French news, translated to English by the author. Each article is translated on a paragraph by paragraph basis so easy to read in either language and even possible to improve either language by comparison of the short English and French paragraphs. Amusez vous bien. The author is currently writing an easy to read technical aviation book centered around the Fokker 50. Another interest is that dealt with in another of Bill's websites www.realnamara.net, a Statue of the mother of God, Mary. It was erected in 1972 in Dublin, at the end of the Bull Wall near Clontarf, and my grandfather William Nelson, was the main instigator of that project.
