Météo France met en garde les habitants de l’Ariège, de Haute-Garonne, Hautes-Pyrénées et Pyrénées-Atlantiques. Des pluies d’une exceptionnelle intensité vont s’abattre sur ces quatre départements des Pyrénées, entre vendredi et samedi.

Meteo France has put on alert the inhabitants of Ariege,, Haute-Garonne, Haute-Pyrenees and Pyrenees Atlantiques. Exceptionally intensive rain will lash the four departments of the Pyrenees, between Friday and Saturday.

Il existe un risque important d’inondations pour six départements des Pyrénées prévient Météo France ce vendredi. L’Ariège, la Haute-Garonne, les Hautes-Pyrénées et les Pyrénées-Atlantiques ont été les premiers concernés par cette vigilance orange, dès ce vendredi à la mi-journée. Ensuite, Metéo France a ajouté deux départements à la liste : le Gers et les Landes. Ces pluies incessantes pourraient durer jusqu’à samedi 16 heures. “Vu le niveau de saturation des sols, le risque de crues est important explique” explique Méteo France.

Meteo France says a risk exists of serious flooding in six departments of the Pyrenees this Friday. The four above are the highest concern around mid-day on Friday. Then Meteo France added two departments to the list: the Gers and the Landes. Incessant rain could last until Saturday at 16h00. “Seeing the level of saturation in the ground, the risk of serious flooding is great” explained Meteo France.

Bill is a member of the Drama League of Ireland and his plays have been critically vetted and certified as original pieces of work by the DLI. Another literary project is that of commemoration of an aircraft crash on Djouce mountain in Wicklow in 1946. Bill wrote articles for the 50th, 60th and most recently the 70th anniversary, (12 Aug 2016) all were published in the Wicklow Times and ensured the survivors of the crash, all French Girl Guides, were not forgotten. It was erected in 1972 in Dublin, at the end of the Bull Wall near Clontarf, and my grandfather William Nelson, was the main instigator of that project.
